1. What is your business philosophy?
Clients' needs are of utmost importance to us. Our goal is to provide proactive, timely, and personal service to our clients. We aim to make a difference in our clients' lives by understanding their individual circumstances to facilitate tax and accounting planning.
2. What book had a significant influence on you as an individual?
The book, Undaunted Courage by Stephen Ambrose highlights the Lewis & Clark Expedition and teaches the lessons of perseverance. In light of overwhelming obstacles, they achieved their goals. The message in this book helps me remain focused to reach my goals.
3. If you change one thing about the job, what would it be?
Instead of our workload being compressed into four months, I would spread the work flow more evenly throughout the year.
4. What short-term and long-term goals do you have with your business?
Short-term goals - We should continually strive to: hire quality staff and offer our existing employees opportunities for growth with ongoing education and professional development, implement the latest technology to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our services, and maintain the fun and warm atmosphere we created since our establishment in 1967.
Long-term goals - The long-term goals include facilitating growth, enhancing profitability, developing a succession plan and leveraging specialty niches.
5. What separates your company from other certified public accountants?
The creativity of our management team in business consulting makes Isdaner & Co LLC unique. On an ongoing basis, we identify opportunities for our clients that go beyond standard service. An example is our establishment of the Integrated Services department. This department was solely formed to meet the needs of our closely held business clients. The department provides our clients all the services packaged together from accounting to tax to financial planning.
